science + comedy heroes = fun
Wow, one of my favorite comedy/media people, Chris Morris, did an interview for the CERN Podcast - which is hosted by probably the hottest (most attractive) physicist in the world, Brian Cox. This is cool because Morris hardly ever does interviews or appears anywhere publicly really, and it's about some awesome science at work. I found this by accident after visiting the Bad Astronomy Blog, since Phil Plait (aka The Bad Astronomer) also appeared on the podcast. I didn't even know about the podcast until now, but I know the work they're doing (or are about to do) at CERN with the LHC is pretty awesome, and I've seen the good Dr. Cox on some documentaries I've downloaded in the past. Apparently Kevin Eldon (who has worked with Morris and been involved of lots of other awesome UK comedy stuff) and John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness!) are amongst the others who've visited. I'm gonna have to get busy listening, this is pretty awesome...
